It’s World Water Day! So how would you answer the UN-Water’s question “What does water mean to you?”
My answer: Diversity, equity and inclusion.

It’s an important topic and one we often focus on in the workplace. Diversity is bringing together individuals from all walks of life. Equity guarantees fair treatment and access to opportunities no matter who you are. Inclusion is removing barriers so that no one excluded.

The need for water is something that makes us all the same, yet within our diverse population, barriers still exist that exclude some equal access to clean drinking water.

This year, let’s commit to being a water hero and work to bring safe drinking water to everyone. That way, when asked next year, “What does water mean to me?” We can all answer with just one simple yet strong word; equality.
